Everything you need to know about Supload.
Frequently Asked Questions
What cloud storage does Supload support?
Google Drive and Dropbox are both supported at launch. You can connect both to a single Supload account, set a default, and toggle between them. We plan to add OneDrive and other platforms over time.
What happens to my photos after uploading?
Once your photos and videos are safely uploaded to your cloud storage, they are no longer in Supload, but the cloud hyperlink or share details can be viewed within your Supload Library. Your content lives in your cloud account. Supload is the bridge, not the destination.
Will Supload content take up my phone storage?
Temporarily, yes. Photos and videos are stored in your Supload app until they're uploaded. Once they're safely in the cloud, they're removed from your device. Your personal camera roll is never touched.
How is Supload different from my regular camera app?
Your default camera saves everything to one camera roll. Work photos end up next to vacation pictures. Supload is purpose-built for work: it has all the core capabilities of a standard camera app (4K, zoom, night mode, video recording) plus helpful extras like a built-in flashlight and text copy from images. Capture, organize into project groups, and upload directly to cloud storage. One app replaces the Camera, Photos, and Google Drive juggle.
Can I add photos from my existing camera roll?
Absolutely. You won't always remember to open Supload first, so you can import photos from your phone gallery and organize them into groups just like any other capture. You can even have Supload delete imported photos from your camera roll for you, keeping your personal gallery clean.
Is my content private and secure?
Your photos and videos go directly from your device to your own cloud storage account. Supload never sees, stores, or processes your media on our servers. All image processing (thumbnails, night mode, etc.) happens on-device. We use zero third-party trackers. No Google Analytics, no Firebase, no data selling. Ever.
Does Supload track my location?
Only if you opt in. GPS tagging is entirely optional and requires your explicit iOS permission. When enabled, it embeds coordinates in photo metadata. Helpful for job sites, inspections, and field documentation. You can disable it anytime.
What about pricing?
Free for individuals getting started, Pro for power users, and Enterprise for teams. Pricing details will be announced before launch. Join the waitlist to be the first to know.
Does Supload work offline?
Yes. When offline mode is enabled, Supload saves your entire cloud folder structure within the app and updates it regularly. So even when you're at a remote job site without internet, you can still navigate folders and queue uploads. Once you're back online, everything uploads automatically.
What does "Supload" mean?
Simple Upload. The name says what the app does: get your work content from your phone to the cloud, simply.
Who built Supload?
Supload was built by Zack Logan, who lived this problem firsthand in the solar industry. Two missing photos of an electrical panel once delayed engineering drawings by two weeks and impacted project profitability. Losing track of critical work photos buried in a personal camera roll is exactly what Supload solves.
How do I keep work photos off my personal phone?
Supload captures work photos in a separate app that never saves to your personal camera roll. Photos are uploaded directly to Google Drive or Dropbox and deleted from your device once safely in the cloud. Your personal gallery stays completely personal.
What is the best app for uploading job site photos to Google Drive?
Supload is built specifically for this workflow. Capture jobsite photos, organize by project, and upload directly to Google Drive (or Dropbox) with background upload and auto-resume. No more switching between Camera, Photos, and Drive.
How do contractors organize work photos on iPhone?
With Supload, contractors create project groups, capture photos directly into them, and upload everything to cloud storage in one tap. No more sorting through a personal camera roll to find work photos. Groups are temporary staging areas that get cleaned up after upload.
